Quick Thoughts

  • Happy Monday.
  • We should change Sunday fun day to Monday, then maybe Monday wouldn’t be as bad.
  • I made homemade pancakes last night for Miriam and I. They were ok, thought about making a new hashtag #TweetWhatYouEat.
  • Ate too fast to get a picture, then thought about a hashtag of #TweetWhatYouExcrete
  • You can probably guess why I didn’t do that one.
  • We had a Christmas celebration at church on Saturday, it was lots of fun. Miriam dominated some fun stuff for kids to do and good times were had by all.
  • Wearing my new contacts today. I am still upset with whoever decided to quick manufacturing the brand I have had since 7th grade. Those were such a good fit. Now it is blurry town for me on occasion.
  • But hey, at least now I have an excuse for my bad spelling and grammar.
  • It is 8:15 here and still dark outside, I want light! Let there be light!
  • Also odd, the snow is melting off the ground here…..very strange.
  • A little over a week before we head home for Christmas. I am excited to get a full week at home, which means lot s of time to see friends and family.
  • Mizzou basketball is fun to watch. Period. Exclamation Point!
  • It is time for me to open up some excel spreadsheets and find some matching names. Sounds fun doesn’t it?
  • I always have a hard time each year making a Christmas list. I never really know what I want or something I need is too big to ask for.

What do you want for Christmas?

Quick Thoughts

Yellow. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Let’s have some quick thoughts to start out our week shall we.

  • Monday morning equals covering the front desk again. Have had numerous times with multiple calls coming in at the same time already, always an adventure to get someone to tell what they need before I lose a call.
  • MU/ku football may never play each other again. It would be sad for the rivalry if it happens that way, but I think kansas will wise up and quit being babies at some point right?
  • My brother told me on Thanksgiving he might get into repo. My immediate thought was the reality shows you see about repo men on TV. My new thought is can I turn it all into a reality show?
  • I need college basketball rankings to come out for this week. I want to see how high Mizzou jumped after whipping Notre Dame by 29 and then California by 39.
  • Helped in the infants room at church yesterday. My right arm is still tired from holding little ones the entire time. I was doubling up a few times.
  • It was fun though as one of my favorite babies in all the world was jealous of the other baby in my arms and was starting to push his arm off or my shoulder. Classically cute.
  • I went Black Friday shopping for the first time this year.
  • Free breakfast will get me to do anything….see previous thought.
  • Just realized most of these aren’t thoughts, they are statements of fact.
  • Maybe I should change the title.
  • Now they are becoming thoughts.
  • Statements again.
  • This is confusing me.
  • Chipotle after church yesterday. It is soooo good.
  • I only have to work one job this week. It is a good feeling to know I won’t be working all day and night on Wednesday and I will get to sleep in on Saturday.
  • The sun was at a perfect angle causing it to be right in my eyes for about the 1st hour of the day. I can finally see again, but now just started getting a glare off of a car window.
  • Apparently the NBA lock out is over. “NBA lovers get an early Christmas Present” was the 1st quote I heard when it was announced. Somebody doesn’t understand early Christmas presents as games start on Christmas day. So it should really just be “NBA lovers get a Christmas present, on Christmas day, that should have been given 2 months ago.”
  • I just created a PollDaddy account so I can put polls and such on my blog.
  • I am not quite ready to go all Christmas music in my Spotify rotation. I will do a little bit and work my way up to all Christmas tunes soon.
  • Alright, as always, thanks for reading and if you fill out the other in the poll please let us know in the comments what you like about this time of year.

Quick Thoughts

  • Time for some quick and random thoughts coming from my brain to yours.
  • I was late to work for the first time today. Either the alarm clock didn’t go off or I shut it off in my sleep. Weird…because I don’t do that.
  • Now I have a bit of a tired feel to me. I like to wake up and give myself time to get ready for the day.
  • Our car is down a brake light, headlight, and possible a turn signal. Should probably get those fixed.
  • Also, I cannot get our rear license plate off the car, so we have two different states plates right now.
  • Covering the front desk right now. It get’s awkward sometimes as you have to divvy up calls for this certain request between five people, and some people get ticked if they think they get too many calls…sorry peeps, just a lot of calls this morning.
  • College basketball season has officially begun. Yes!!! And go Mizzou!
  • Mizzou B-ball game tonight!!!
  • Miriam got me 6 new shirts on 50% day at one of the local thrift stores in our area. Looks like I will be wearing some new digs to work this week.
  • When you work in a meat department this time of the year is busy with Turkeys. Once they put them all on a truck it is therapeutic to sing and yell loudly when organizing deep in the truck. Try it sometime.
  • If you are an NFL player and on my fantasy football team, you are currently injured in some way. Sorry about that.
  • Seriously, I am about to put my whole team on injured reserve for the season.
  • Mizzou beat Texas on Saturday. That was very enjoyable as it is Texas’ greed that has been the main cause of all the Big 12 break up mess.
  • Drew Holcomb plays some good music. You should go listen to the song “Live Forever”. You know was just click here to get to give it a listen. Boom, now you don’t even have to search for it. No excuses now.
  • It’s Monday, time for another week in the world.
  • Guess what? Look below.
