NBA draft is tonight so check out: The Worst NBA draft day outfits of all time.

Pictures from the fires going on in Colorado.

Kenny Chesney look-a-like kicked out of concert.

Two Issues, one is of course the dumb move of putting the cheese on top of the bun, the other…KFC making a burger? Looks like chicken to me.
I pulled off this same dunk about a week ago.

High Five Awareness

You can’t make proper high five contact, you can’t make a 10 foot putt, it’s science.

You guys, we need to talk about something terrible I have noticed over the past few months. No, not the fact that the Bird Flu might go viral in real life, something much worse.

The horrifying thing I am thinking of is how bad we seem to be becoming at simple high fives. You know how it happens, it starts with poor high five technique, then you start missing lay ups, then people get angry.

From there it escalates to where missed high fives turn into missed hand shakes and everyone’s hand eye coordination goes blurry as we struggle to cope.

When high fives get missed, someone might take a slap to the head, or a fist bump to the nose, it could be anything and you know what blows to the head mean….concussions! Becoming concussed is one of the biggest concerns for athletes today. We need to protect the high five to eliminate the worry of concussions.

This small miss could have been a concussion, we all know how serious sports are taking concussions lately.

We’ve seen it a lot in golf this year, how is a sport where hand eye coordination is so important also so difficult to connect on a high five. Maybe it is because they grew up playing the game and keeping quiet, maybe we need to let golfers have more fun as they clearly don’t know how to high five.

And, we all know that if you can’t high five properly it then becomes difficult connect on a hand shake as well. You get confused and don’t know what hand to grab and when.

Evidence that if you can’t high five, hand shaking becomes difficult.

In Game 2 of the NBA finals we see Chris Bosh and Ronny Turiaf have a failed high five (see below) that could have been avoided with some simple communication. Turiaf starts with the palm out and up waiting for the five spot from Bosh. Bosh goes for the attempt too slow and Turiaf gets impatient. He switches to the high five, but it’s too late and things become a dangerous moment of hands swinging at nothing in the air. All could have been saved with someone saying “High Five!”

Communication could have saved this interaction.

Now, I am not here to fix this problem that is becoming more and more wide spread each day. I can only make you aware of what is happening.

Please watch the following video to help you with your high five etiquette and technique. And spread the word, because sharing is caring and awareness makes for careness… or something like that.
